As General Counsel, Stephanie Griffin is responsible for the management of the legal affairs of Airports Worldwide (AWW) and its global platform, which includes over 500 employees nationwide. Ms. Griffin is responsible for the oversight of all corporate governance matters, regulatory compliance, contract and litigation management, labor matters, and risk mitigation for the company. She focuses on ensuring a cohesive legal strategy throughout these areas.
Ms. Griffin joined TBI US Operations, Inc. (TBI), a wholly-owned subsidiary of AWW, as General Counsel in 2017. She concentrates on implementing the best legal strategies for reducing risk and encouraging growth for the company. Prior to joining AWW, Ms. Griffin worked in private practice in South Florida, including a number of years at an Am Law100 law firm. She handled transnational legal issues, including commercial litigation and transactional matters on behalf of large and midsized corporations. While in private practice, Ms. Griffin focused on employment law, contract law, business immigration, and corporate legal matters, and served as trial and appellate counsel in a number of business disputes.
She is a member of the Florida Bar and the bars of the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Middle, and Southern Districts of Florida. She has been a member of the Palm Beach County Bar Association, where she served on the Committee for Diversity and Inclusion, and also served as a Guardian Ad Litem for the Ninth Judicial Circuit Court of Florida (Orange County).
