Allegiant Announces New Service To Orlando With Fares As Low As $59  

SANFORD, Fla. (Aug. 21, 2018)

Allegiant (NASDAQ: ALGT) today announces new nonstop service from its newest city Albany, New York to Orlando via Orlando Sanford International Airport (SFB) beginning Dec. 13, 2018. To celebrate, the company is offering one-way fares on the new routes as low as $59.*A recent passenger survey indicated that the appreciation of visitors for the upgraded interior of the Terminal increased sharply, indicating improved passenger satisfaction for especially the upgraded food and beverage and retail facilities.

“Allegiant is excited to announce this new service from our newest city, giving Albany-area travelers a convenient, nonstop option to visit the Theme Park Capital of the World,” said Drew Wells, Allegiant vice president of planning and revenue. “Orlando has been a very important market for us since we began service here in 2005, and we’re proud to grow again with this new route.”

The new year-round service will operate three times a week from Albany International Airport (ALB). With this addition, Allegiant will offer nonstop service from 72 cities to Orlando Sanford International Airport (SFB). The new route will bring nearly 33,000 additional visitors to the area.
