Airports Worldwide Adds H. Jason Terreri to Management Team

Airports Worldwide welcomes today H. Jason Terreri to their management team as the Senior Operations Project Director. His duties with Airports Worldwide will include developing recommendations for strategic deployment of capital and guiding efficient execution of capital projects across the platform with early emphasis on the assets in the Americas. Jason will be based at Airports Worldwide’s U.S. headquarters in Sanford, Florida.

Jason has over 15 years of aviation and airport management experience most recently as the Assistant Director of Airports for Horry County (South Carolina) Department of Airports where he was responsible for the capital improvement program for Myrtle Beach International Airport as well as three general aviation airports in Horry County. He also spent nine years at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport in various business development, properties and operations roles.

Recognized as an industry leader, Jason served as the Co-Chair for the FAA’s Surface and Ramp Operations Committee in Washington D.C., part of an initiative to implement the NextGen program that will improve the safety and efficiency of the National Airspace System. In 2010, Jason was awarded a NASA Fellowship Grant for his NextGen work. Continually giving back to both the local and national aviation community, Jason also serves as an adviser and mentor to several collegiate aviation programs and aspiring aviation professionals.

Jason is also a commercial pilot and former flight instructor. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Aviation Management from the Florida Institute of Technology and a Master of Public Administration degree with a concentration in aviation policy from the University of Nebraska. Jason earned his Accredited Airport Executive (A.A.E.) designation for the American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE) in 2009, and in 2012 he was recognized by Airport Business Magazine as one of the "Top 40 Under 40." Jason earned the International Airport Professional (IAP) designation for Airports Council International (ACI) in 2014 and was elected to the Board of Directors for the IAP Community of Practice.
