ADC & HAS' Airports in Costa Rica Suffer Minimal Damage from Earthquake

September 5, 2012, an earthquake hit Costa Rica measuring 7.6 on the Richter scale.  The quake was followed by three strong aftershocks of magnitudes 4.6, 4.5 and 4.4.  ADC & HAS, the managing operator of Juan Santamaria and Daniel Oduber Q International Airports, is happy to announce that both airports sustained little to no damage due to the quick and decisive action by airport management.  Neither airport was closed even though the quake was centered approximately 38 miles from the town of Liberia.
